Just like every other holiday company... and they wonder why people start booking independently?
Got another letter from Virgin Atlantic - "Unfortunately The Chief Exec's office are unable to deal with this query, so it's no been passed to Customer Services again - they will now send a cheque for £175 to cover the phone calls but cannot help on a ruined honeymoon"
I'm just going to write back and ask for all the records held with this incident under the Data Protection Act...

It's been a while but I finally got a result - £800 cash - It's taken lots of letters and finally speaking to somebody with enough authority as well as threatening court, the press and saying 6 months is not acceptable from "a customer focussed" company like Virgin
They did try it on with vouchers - which they got a very firm rebuttal whilst I was in Australia - but I've now banked the cheque so hopefully case closed. It just took a while
The moral - don't give up!0
