Can anyone help me buy cheap large bras???

Options
Hello all..I am still adjusting to the money-saving way of life I began this month.

I used to buy all bras at Bravissimo...they are the only place I've found where the bras actually fit....if I go to M&S or somewhere they give me the wrong size completely and it just doesn't work!

Anyway...I used to go to Bravissimo, get measured, buy one bra for about £22 and then buy other bras in the same size online in sales for much less.

I have had twins and my bra size is nowhere near what it used to be...I have no idea what it is. But I can't afford to buy even one bra in Bravissimo.

Anyone else have any good ideas for how I can find out my size? In Bravissimo they seem just to do it by looking! Or am I doomed to have to shell out?

Thanks for any tips xxx

  • Hi,
Go and get measured at Bravissimo and ask if you can try different ones on. Tell them someone is going to buy you one for your birthday/ treat etc so won't actually be buying today. When you know size and style take a look on e-bay or search via google. I am a large bra size and have found several cheaper ones on e-bay recently (Panache ones), apparently they are about £25+ at Bravissimo and I paid about £17 on e-bay. Not exactly cheap but good bras and last.

    Hi Rachel

I would echo the above poster and go and get measured at Bravissimo, I've always found them the best.

you dont need to actually buy anything from them.

Once you know the correct size you can look at ather options.

Have you looked at Asda? I know some people dont rate them , but they do some lovely large size bras at really good prices. I have lots from them and they wash well and look good.

I dont know where you are but I noticed in my local catalogue bargain stores have some lovely bras in large sizes for good prices

Also remember that a lot of online bra suppliers and department stores often have some great sales on, and its always worth looking at the discounts board for any possible discount codes. Dont forget cashback sites like Quidco.

Asda and matalan, great bras for the price.
There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.

Just read it again properly. Go get measured in like Debenhams or BHS or somewhere then buy online with returns? Figleaves online? My friend is a 42 J and gets hers from there. There's always some sort of sale so she says.

i use Brastop alot, i got 3 last week for £12 each and they are branded ones. But you need to find out your size first. I use asda alot as well, and I am a FF cup.
