Hahaha, thanks Fiona, Katie and davidrpj1. :D

For me, the only thing ive changed so far is Bank and Doctors. Feel really apprehensive about sending the original wedding certificate off in the post! Not changing passport as it runs out in 2014, may aswell wait till then and wont be going anywhere far really and will just book any holidays in maiden name until its changed.

    Stuff still to change: -

    TV Licence
    Mortgage
    Water
    Electric
    Gas
    Driving Licence
    Council Tax
    Car Registration
    Telephone (Mobile, Landline and Broadband)
    Car Insurance
    Life Insurance
    Dentist
    National Insurance...???

    Any others to add?!

    Hiya,

Our translated certificate arrived this morning from Lindos & we have 2 copies & thats it. There is a way of getting certified copies but you need to log the details in the UK system first & it can take 3 months before it's done & then I can get copies like with the birth certificate etc, so i'm worried too above sending the real thing off:(

I've just filled in an online form for the HMRC it was really easy:D So that will change my tax details & NI I think. Popped in to Barclays on my lunch & within 10 mins it was all sorted, I was worried they would not like the certificate with it coming from Greece but all ok, he just took a copy. I rang Tesco for changing my credit card & they want the real thing, it annoys me that so many places want an orignal. I've got the forms for the passport & they obviously want the real thing so will do that 1st & take it from there one at a time. I'm just going to sent photocopies to most places & see if I can get them to accept that.

Only others I have listed are:-
    Pensions
    Car Breakdown
    Electrol Roll
    Land Registry?

    All good fun hey!

    Hiya

I changed my passport ready for our honeymoon as hubby (lol) booked the flights in my married name, which i thought was sweet at the time, but didnt realise the cost implication! Ooops
Here is a link to the our photographers blog along with some pics!

I know that on the day the minor problems that occured seemed massive, but looking back on the mountains of photos we had, we really enjoyed ourselves and so did everybody else! which makes me happy :)
on the day of our honeymoon )the tuesday after being wed, our venue flooded, where we had some of our photos taken was under water...so i can say we were extremely lucky that the sun shone for us on our day!

    Hiya T*ovi

Fab photos, you look great & I love your shoes:j

Wow that was really lucky regarding your venue.

I've done the bank, tv licence, HMRC, work. Doing passport at the weekend when hopefully my new cheque book arrives so I can send it off. After that i'm going to do my driving licence, most place seem to want an orginal or certified copy & we only have an origianl with it been from Greece, but i've been informed by some that if I send a photocopy & a photocopy of my updated driving licence then they will accept that because they know the DVLA has checked you, worth a shot anyway!

I've done my bank (current account & mortgage), my credit card, dentist, car insurance, & electoral roll/council tax

I've also kind of done my ISA - well I've opened a new better interest one in my married name and sent them my marriage certificate so they can transfer my old ISAs into that account...

Still need to tell Inland Revenue (Hubby has been away and I need his NI details), Student Loan Co, Land Registry, DVLA (car registration & driving license) & doctors... It's a never ending list!!! Not changing passport until it expires in 2017! :rotfl:

t*ovi love the photos! I've only had a brief skim through as I'm meant to be picking hubby up in 5mins (and its a 10min drive). Was that longhirst hall you were at? We looked around there- its a lovely venue!

I still don't have my photos from the photographer yet! I'm very impatient!

I've only changed my name with Specsavers and the bank. And work- although I only started my new job last week so I don't think that really counts
