iPod battery replacement?

I've had an iPod classic for a couple of years and it has been used heavily during that time.
I've noticed over the last few weeks that it is holding its charge for less and less time with the result that I now have to charge it every night and am lucky to get 2 hours' play on it before it needs to be charged again. Other than that it is working fine so I think it may simply be the battery coming to the end of its useful life.
Is it worth having the battery replaced and, if so, any recommendations of where I can/should get this done?
Thanks

No actual recommendations, as I've never needed to do it.
However, http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=ipod+classic+replacement+battery
gives you several options:-
o Take it to Apple
o Use a 3rd party repairer
o DIY

Could always just buy a nice shiny new one that has bigger storage.. expensive option yes but hey.."If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0
