I thought I posted this the other day - but I can't find it when I do a search. Apologies if it's alread on here.
I'm visiting the USA in about a months time - for a holiday. I note that applying for a Halifax Clarity card is recommended if I want to avoid foreign currency exchange fees when spending abroad.
I also want to apply for a new BT 0% c/c next month because I have an existing balance which is about to change from 0% to 17.9%!
Is it more worth my while applying for the BT card first, then the Clarity card? I don't want to risk my chances of getting a new BT card. I also don't like the idea of having to pay needless fees on overseas spending.
Thanks everyone.

You'll have to do the maths. But almost certainly the BT will be the priority - unless your overseas spend is likely to be in excess of your BT. Even then - the forex loading is a one-off thing. Paying over the odds in interest is something you'll be doing every month.0
