can anyone tell me if the best underground station is charing cross or embankment for the savoy.. im new to this london theatre lark lol

Charing Cross is nearer (just), but to walk between the two stations is just a couple of minutes, so either will do you. (Or go to Covent Garden)

thanks.. how far in mins is it from charing cross.. trying to work out going home times.. we have to travel back in the underground and all the way back to bucks so dont want to miss the last train lol

Took advantage of the offer and enjoyed the show. Word of warning, its very easy to walk past the theatre because the neon display board is actually on top of a building which is on the other side. The actual theatre is right next to the Savoy inside the road which leads to it. I was waiting for my girlfriend by standing by the traffic lights and was surprised to see so many confused people looking for the theatre.

When I used to live in Aylesbury and going to London on a budget. Used to drive down to Amersham and get the underground from there. Don't know if driving is an option for you.

Thanks this was what i was thinking or going from chesham.. not sure how the parking is at both of them
