DVLA renewal forms for restricted 3 year licence
Hi has anyone got any experience of having your drivnig licence renewed due to parkinsons? What normally happens? Will they renew it for a further 3 years or less?
Need to fill out some forms as 3 year restricted licence due to run out. Need to complete a PK1 amongst others.

Can't really give you any specific guidance as nobody I know (touch wood...no offence meant !) has parkinsons.
However, a friend does have diabetes and he has to renew his license every 3 years.
My only advice is :
- Speak to your GP for advice.
- Look at http://www.parkinsons.org.uk/advice/living_with_parkinsons/driving_and_parkinsons/informing_the_dvla.aspx
Hopefully my response will act as a bump for more people to advise you.
