How do I connect my Blackberry to my wireless router?

Hi
I have just purchased a Blackberry and am trying to connect it to my wireless connection at home. I have a Belkin Surf which is secure. When I go through the options to connect the phone, it says to enter a pin number (generated by the phone) into the router. I can't see anywhere where I can put a number into the router? I thought it was the other way round and that I would have to put the pass key into the phone.
A friend said they had done it by unsecuring the network but I don't really want to do that.
Any advice greatly appreciated

I think the PIN number is when you are using a wireless access point or router that is enabled with Wi-Fi Protected Setup.
On the Blackberry, try Set Up Wi-Fi Network, Click Scan for Networks. Click a network. Click Manually Add Network and follow the prompts.0 -
Thanks
I've just tried that, but when it asks what security the network has, there is no option for WPA/WPA2. I've tried WEP but the length of the pass key is different so won't accept it. Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked

I don't have a Blackberry anymore so can't check it. Google though shows some people saying that WPA is referred to as PSK on Blackberry.
What model do you have?0 -
I have the curve 9300. I've just tried the push button setup, which told me to press the WSP button on the router which I did. The phone then said searching, then connecting - but failed to connect before the timer ran out.Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked

Aha! I've done it - I changed the browser configuration to 'hotspot browser' and it's worked
