Balance Transfer for newly unemployed

in Credit cards
Hi - I was made redundant a few months ago and in a bid to save money (as I've not yet been successful in getting a new job), I'd like to balance transfer my credit card debt. However, I don't know where I stand now with new credit card applications without being employed and therefore having no income. Please can anyone give me some advice or pointers as to how to go about this? Thanks

I don't think you'd be able to get a card whilst unemployed as you will have to state this on the application and also state your reduced income which will, I assume comprise of JSA, Housing Benefit, etc...
That said - maybe you have another source of income such as property rental. My posts are my own opinions based on my experiences and info gathered from sites such as this.
