Barclaycard problem

Want to do what I thought was a simple thing, get some money into my sons bank account from my Barclaycard. Don't lecture me about doing the wrong thing, it will be transferred to a 0%.
Well Barclaycard used to send me unwanted cheques till I asked them to stop so I rang the Indian call center and asked if I could have one. No we don't do them any more!
So can I make a payment from my Barclaycard to his bank a/c? Yes, just do it as a normal purchase, but it is a normal a/c, not a business a/c says I, OH long pause!
Further questions got me nowhere so I asked to speak to someone else, long wait, no-one else can help but if you go to Barclays Bank they will do the transfer. Funny I thought the Bank was separate from the Card.
So today I go to the Bank and they cannot help. They suggest I draw the money in cash at the counter for a 2.5% charge and send it to him!
So can anyone help me get the money to my sons account from my Barclaycard?

I think them indian call center's are just set up for basic english and basic questions, you ask them anything what's not on their little list they always go all quiet.

I think the only way you can put money into a private account from a credit card is by cash advance.
This will incur fees and interest.

paypal but again fees, barclaycard has a bank transfer option online if approved.

You have two options -

Pay Pal him the money

Withdraw it from a cashpoint

Barclaycard don't to money transfers or cheques.

Thanks for all the answers. Have a Paypal account but it is from a current account via a debit card, what is the daily limit with Barclaycard and will there be any additional charges? I know interest will be charged from day 1.
