although i changed over gas and electric over a month ago it is NOT on the online saver 7 tariff..... i have called them and they advised normally takes a week......
they are now amending bills from original dates to reflect this...

Hi Foxy
Same thing happened to me, I switched to EDF. Signed up to online saver 5 last year but was initially billed on the standard tariff.
3 months and several calls and emails later, EDF made good their error and credited my account with £45 that I had overpayed
I would urge anyone that has switched to EDF (even if not recently) to check they are being billed correctly - I would've overpayed at least £150 by now if I hadn't have checked my bills carefully.0 -
Just wanted to say this happened to me as well. EDF haven't actually sorted it out yet but I'm hoping they will do before the next billing date arrives.0

I have just switched to EDF and was advised my electricity would be on standard until the gas went over too however my first electric bill is on Saver 7 so its worked out for me in the end but I would also urge people to check as I have heard cases just like yours a few times, hence why I checked mine and will continue doing so until I have the pleasure of leaving them.I work for first direct and have previously worked for Santander.
Any information I give should not been seen as being given from first direct or Santander however I do have certain knowledge from working there.
Thank you, Chrissy :wave:0 -
I'm on online S@ver7 and it stated in the sign up process that I would be placed on the standard tariff for a short while my account transferred.
I signed up via EDF's website, if you sign up elsewhere it may not tell you this.
I just asked them to alter the readings so it looked like I used no fuel whilst I was on the standard tariff and they were perfectly fine about it. Its a limitation of their system so probably affects all tariffs.0 -
I had this too. Went from online 4 to online 7. They switched the electricity but not the gas. Emailed them last week and got a response saying that they would fix it and backdate the tarriff to the day the electricity was changed.0
