Indeed they do. Going by a brim to brim MPG comparison, my trip computer shows an extra 2MPG over reality so about 3-4% high.

Wow, thats bad. On a 450 mile round trip to Bristol 50% loaded at 44 tonne GVW and returning empty at 14 tonnes, I got 12MPG out of a Scania with a 14 litre V8.

I average 56 MPG from my Mondeo Estate (2.0 TDCi 130PS) but recently with Millers Diesel Additive it's been 58 MPG. Although it's not really worth paying for the additive for an extra 2 MPG!
