Holidays Book & Tupe

Hi guys,
My 1st post here so go easy!:)
The Company I worked for A went into administration, looks like our local rivals company B will take us over and the remaining staff that the administrators kept on will be transferred under Tupe.
I had booked holidays with company A and am due to take them on 3rd Feb until the 8th. I am guessing that I won't be needed but will not be cheap to be made redundant. Can company B make life awkward for me legally with my holidays? I can't miss this holiday as its to New York, but if I go and then they dismiss me will I have a strong claim for unfair dismissal? I have signed holiday forms from a Director and supervisor of company A.
Thanks in advance guys!

What ever they think they can do with allowances policies etc.
The background to holidays is that that a company/employee needs to give twice the holiday as notice.
So your break is 4 days holiday from the 3rd(or do you work weekends making it more).
I think you allready protected by legislation since between now(tues 25) and the 2 feb is only 7 work days.0 -
When I was TUPEd over a few years ago, we were told all the leave we already had booked had to be honoured.
Hope it all works out for you, OP, and that you have a lovely time in NYC.From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!0 -
Thanks guys you've certainley eased my worries, I maybe over analysing the situation, I hardly know the supposed new owners only from hearsay, our old owners really dislike the so maybe my views and worries are clouded.
I do not work weekends so I only have 5 days booked, we'll 4.5 days really but I assumed taking all of the 3rd off as at this moment in time I'm working for the administrators.
Again thank you for the advice you have really eased my worries, I really don't want to fight but glad to know if I have to I have the law on my side.0
