Minimised screen in OE

I have a new lap top and run Outlook Express. When I open a message it appears as a minimised screen and naturally I maximise it. Despite this when I open another message it is a minimised screen. This is really irritating me as I have tried everything on the tool bar to find out how to permanently open with a maximised screen. Also when I open Create a new message I get a minimised screen.

Any techies have any ideas as I am right out of them!!

Thanks

Try manually stretching the message window rather than maximizing it

I think this idea should work:

Right click on the shortcut icon and go to properties.
In the Run box it will probably say Minimized, change this to Normal or Maximized.
Then click OK and try it out.

    Good luck!
