Insurance query
Ok, confusing situation, my family have a company car of which I am insured on. Recently had a nasty accident where said car was wrote off by me.
Question is, I have my own car, so do I lose the no claims on the policy for my own car? bearing in mind the other car is insured by the company its supplied by.
I'm confused! Any help much appreciated.

You won't affect your own insurance, or your own no claims.
However you need to them them know, and they will most likely increase your next premium as the result of the accident, as sadly they will load you for it.0 -
sorry i should clarify, i don't currently own the car, the insurance is on hold at present and i was in the process of buying a new one, just seemed easier to say i owned another car rather than elaborate but nevermind lol.
So I will still get this years no claims once the year is completed?
Edit: Also i've done quotes and it hasn't changed whatsoever in terms of price, it actually came down £40 :S0 -

The insurance on hold notwithstanding, you won't affect your no claims on your policy by making a claim on the company car policy. The company car policy will lose the ncd. You still need to declare the accident on any insurance policy you have, or will be named on.0 -

We'll see what happens, you're not going to win with insurance companies.0
