advice on connecting home cinema to internet

Hi All

Have a home cinema that we want to connect to the internet our wireless router is upstair and rather than having cables running through the house is there anything we can use to connect wirelessly but still use lan cable to connect to the home cinema system. Read about bridges but its confusing me we have sky broadband if it makes a difference.

we could use a dongle but its a sony bdv-e370 and they are expensive and reviews are poor.

Any help is appreciated.

You can get a network switch, Basically it's just another router that connects to your modem giving you a larger range of Wifi or the option to stop trawling cables across the floor.
