I'm told that even though I'm 33 because I am currently living with parents I will get no benefits.
My baby is due in March and because I am self employed will have no income while I'm not working
Can I claim anything???

You might be able to claim maternity pay. If not, you can claim income support. You'll also be entitled to child tax credits and child benefit. If you receive an income-based out of work benefit, or receive CTC of more than £21 a week, you'll be entitled to the sure start grant - this is to buy things for the baby, such as a cot and a pram.
Your parents income doesn't matter. Because you live with them, you're not entitled to local housing allowance or council tax benefit. If the baby's father pays child support, benefits are unaffected.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
