My wife and Mum in law are going to Bath for a day out shopping in a couple of weeks. Does anyone know of somewhere nice to eat not far from the shops where they can have a meal and a glass of wine to relax.
They dont mind what type of food just would like a recomendation.
Many thanks

There is a new place called Gasgoines (i think that is spelt right!) which serves some pretty nice food and is a stones throw away from Bath Theatre Royal (directly opposite). Depends what you want really. Brown's or Cafe Uno is always good close to Pultney bridge.0

You can always eat at the Pump Room!0

There's a lovely veggie restaurant right next to the abbey called Demuths - i think they do lunch specials too.0

There is a nice Mexican/Latin in the little precinct next to the Theatre Royal, it happens to be next to a shoe and handbag shop that is really nice for wives and mums shopping
Even better - just had a quick look for the name of it and found a link for 10% off if you register for the newsletter
