Startup Folder

I have Windows Calendar opening every time I start Windows but have checked the startup folder and it's empty. It was an action I set up yonks ago when I used to use the Calendar but I don't any more and strangely it's only just started happening again in the last month. Where else can I look to delete the instruction?

  • Look in windows calendar settings for an option on 'start on startup' and deselect it

or use the msconfig startup tab: http://netsquirrel.com/msconfig/index.html

Thanks MSU - couldn't find anything in the calendar itself but have used the msconfigu startup tab so hopefully that'll sort it out once my pc has restarted! Much appreciated!

  • If you've ever heard of a program called TuneUp Utilities, it has a start-up manager that will show you all programs that automatically start when you turn your PC on including programs you didn't even know where there or existed. You can download a free trail from their website and even after the trail is over, the programs wont start up again.

Or alternatively there's over freeware that do the same-thing such as CCleaner
