Terrier barks when passing other dogs

Hello all
I have a 7 month old lakeland terrier cross. She is reasonably well behaved, and has a nice little routine which makes her happy.
But, when we go for walks, she goes mental when she sees another dog - pulls on the lead, barks/squeaks and does not listen to a word I say. How do I get past this?
Currently, I drag her past as quickly as possible (I know this isn't the right thing to do!)

Hi, it sounds like partly excitement when she sees another dog.
I noticed she is only a pup at 7 months old, could you take her to puppy training classes so she can socialise with other dogs?
With regards to the walks, I don't know if your dog is treat or toy motivated. You need to work on getting her attention on you as opposed the other dog. She needs to know it's rewarding to pay you attention, so for example, when you see another dog you should get a treat to hand or toy that she likes and call her name. If you can get her to give you eye contact, then reward with the treat and praise or a little tug of the toy.
It's best to use tiny treats for the training, you could try hot dog sausages chopped up or something like that. It's best to use a "high reward" treat as opposed a dry dog biscuit.
Also, I know it's difficult, but try to stay relaxed when you approach other dogs - if you are having to drag her, she will think somethings wrong and any tension she senses will cause her to react negatively. Perhaps you could try a head collar for additional control and it also makes it easier for you to handle her when passing other dogs. I use the Gencon, and after trying several other makes, I can honestly say this one has been worth every penny.
I have had my rescue dog 4 years now and he's a strong lad (rottie cross gsd!)
but he has improved no end, with consistent training and lots of praise when he's doing well.
Good luck and you can always send a private message if I can help you any futher.0
