Recommend a Conservatory Builder in East Anglia?

Options
My parents are looking at getting a conservatory built extending their kitchen. We have an Everest guy downstairs doing the quote right now...I just went online and did some opinion searches and Everest doesnt do very well!

I really dont want them to have any problems with this and for it to go smoothly - so was wondering if anyone could recommend someone good and trustworthy in the East Anglia area? I hear Anglia Conservatories are no good either...

Thanks in advance...

Would definitely recommend Trulight. They are more based towards South Cambs/North Herts area but worth asking if they would cover the job.

We've had a conservatory from them as have our friends and have been very happy with them. My parents have also had windows and doors from them recently and have been very impressed.

After service is also great - any small fault they will normally come out to same day e.g. when my mother managed to lock herself out the new front door!

Only to do exactly what you are doing. Stay away from the national window companies - they are real rip-off merchants, and we had a horrible time when they got near my mother-in-law and missold her a back door for a 'mere' £1400. I had to threaten shaming stories to the local press before they released her from her contract.

At around the same time we were looking to put in a new conservatory, so we shopped around over a number of weekends, using yellow pages and t'interweb to identify local companies that either had showplaces or factories, and visited them in situ till we found one we liked and that had a product we thought was good. We didn't get local recommendations, because we didn't know anyone in our area who had used them, so we were lucky it turned out so well for us. However, if you narrow your choice down to a couple of businesses, then perhaps others on here will be able to give you feedback on their experiences. We chose a long-established compnay, saved about £10k and have got something we're delighted with. (As we're in the south-west, the company we used wouldn't be any good for you, I'm afraid, or I'd happily recommend them!)
