i took a psp game back before without a receipt (but had a tesco price sticker on) and the man said he couldn't do anything without proof of purchase. i then waited until he went away for a break and tried with the other cs lady and she said without a receipt, i could only get an exchange. so i just filled a basket of groceries and paid the remaining! so it just shows that it all depends on who you pick.
