  • I recently bought 43 LED recessed lights for a new build extension at lights4living I was unsure about them and had heard stories about how long the bulbs last, I have had them for 10 months now and without problems, they were quite expensive at around £55 each but the light output is better than 50watt halogens I have in the bathroom. the thing to look at is lumens per watt mine are 40 lumens per watt and the lights are 9watt.

You have posted twice within 7 minutes promoting the same website. Wouldn't have a connection would you, Spammer?

Except that 40 lumens per watt x 9 watts = 360 lumens = 18 watts equivalent. Not 50 watts. Either you're blind or MSE's resident spam policeman has nailed another spammer.

I know this is an old topic but didn't want to start a new one.

i have found a cracking supplier for LED Bulbs, i have been testing a couple over the last week, before taking the plunge.

GU10 are £5.95+ VAT use 3.5w but put out eqv to 60w
    MR16 are the same £5.95 + VAT

this is the first time i've found a supplier thats putting out a decent light, they use SMD Surface mounted diodes which seem to put more power out

    any website is http://www.convertabulb.co.uk

i came across them at a recent tourism meeting very impressed so far, just need to buy the rest for bathroom
The futures bright the future is Ginger
