Parking company taken to court?

Hi everyone
one of my mums friends recently paid parking eye due to not knowing it was a scam.
I have recently shown her this website and now she feels stupid. She over stayed in a pay and display carpark by 10mins and ended up paying £60!
Has anybody taken a company to court to get their money back or would it be too much hassle?

Yes, but they were lawyers and even they were initially taken in. Generally its not worth the hassle but she will know if there's a next time.

As P T P says yes its possible was actually done to Parking Spy.

However County court is a bit hit and miss and it could cost them more in the end if they did not win.

Thats what i thought. Well hopefully she wont make the same mistake twice!
