Free pre-school for 3 yr olds

Hi

I'm not sure if i'm posting this in the right place?

I'm hoping to keep my DS1 in his private nursery for his pre-school place when he is 3 because his younger brother will be there also.

However it was mentioned to me by a friend that the government only pay a maxum amount per hour, i cant see any mention of this on there website.

I Know the 15 hours is only for 38 weeks so would be pro-rataed(sp) over the 52 weeks. & that its a maximum of 6 hours a day.

Thanks
Jo

Just been working this out. I make that 10.96 hours a week for 52 weeks. So he will need to attend either 2 full days or 4 half days??
