Any advice folks, and if so, what is the most cost effective way of doing it? For example is the homecare service provided by British Gas worth it's monthly fee?

If your a landlord then your legally obliged to get it checked out annually.
Most if not all boiler manufacturers would say annually.
BG say annually on the grounds of safety.
I have read that some people here have it done every 2 years so i guess ultimately its what you feel comfortable with.
I would check out your local corgi fitter as they are likely to be better value than BG.

depends how often she is up for it?You got to get through what you've got to go through to get what you want but you got to know what you want to get through what you got to go through.0

It's meant to be annually. I would go for a local corgi registered fitter as opposed to British Gas but it's whatever you feel comfortable with yourself at the end of the day.:hello: :hello: :hello:0

Don't forget that the monthly fee you would pay British Gas also covers any breakdowns throughout the year as well as an annual check. It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.:kisses3:0
