the father of a dear friend has died and his wish was for donations to the local air ambulance. my question is this

which is the best way to donate?

i am hazily aware of some tax relief thingy for the charity, but not sure how to go about donating anyway!

any help gratefully recieved

    Usually there is a collection at the church as you go in.

    What air ambulance is it? You might find them online and donate that way. If you're a taxpayer the charity can claim back 28% from the government via giftaid. I donated to Yorkshire Air Ambulance after Richard Hammond's crash. You just tick the box where it says you'd like to claim back giftaid. That's all you have to do. You have to be a taxpayer though. http://www.justgiving.com/statements/giftaid/
