Hello everyone, If you have a HSBC credit card please check your APR. I have noticed that mine has increased from 22.1% to 33.5% within the space of a month with no notification - who said bankers got small bonuses !!!! I have phoned to start the rejection of their rate change process off. The bank did not even have the courtesy of notifying me of the rate increase - The Worlds Local Bank - hmmmmmmm:money:

What has been your behaviour like? I mean, did you have a high balance and make minimum payments? Do you pay in full? How often do you use the card?cjcaine107 wrote: »Hello everyone, If you have a HSBC credit card please check your APR. I've just got mine and it is 16.9% APR. I hope it stays that way, otherwise I'll bin it.0 -
Hi
I to have just had a rate hike from 18.9 to 33.5% and have asked hsbc for an explination as I got no sense from them earlier today on the phone they said I had to write to them to ask why?
Luckily I pay my bill off every month buts thats not the point
I thought hsbc are just trying to get rid of customers that they dont make any money out of as I have just paid off my mortgage with them on thursday it seems to be a bit suspect to me as they are offering aprs of 16.9 % on their web site0 -
I emailed hsbc to ask why
got a letter today saying the rate rise was an administive error!!!!!!!!!!! and will return to 18.9 %0
