clean and easy meal for one or two

get some tin foil lay it out on the worktop
place on it a chop some spuds some veg crumble half an oxo cube over it and a tablespoon of water
wrap it all up in the tin foil
place in oven for about half an hour
unwrap tin foil
a lovely tasty meal
if you want thick gravy tip out the juice and make it thicker with bisto etc
no dishes or pans to wash just your plate knife and fork ;D ;D ;D

Great veg dish.
In roasting tin, put potatoes, carrots, mixed peppers, garlic, courgettes(don't need to peel, just slice up), add rosemary or thyme from herb box, add some garlic/normal oil, bung in oven. Bit later add cherry toms and mushrooms. Voila! Fab, goes well with anything. We could have this every night of the week with meat/cold cuts etc. Definitely better than bought stuff & very cheap. Looks very colourful as well, great if you have guests and want something easy to cook that looks and smells wonderful..It's great in here!1 -

what do you mean in a bag? have visions of me using a carrier bag and ending up with a melted mess.....0 -
i make a bag out of tin foil, fold sheet in half, roll over the sides, put stuff in top, and roll over top. yummy. carrier bags don't work as well.0

i had a fillet of hake in a foil bag today. just added a bit of butter and salt and pepper. Had it with some leeks fried in butter and new pots.... delish!!No links in signatures by site rules - Forum Team 20
