Money Raising Ideas

I'm a 23 year old student from the University of East Anglia.
As part of the 'Raising and Giving' society, I am climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for Childreach International.

I have to raise a significant amount of money before I leave.

I wondered if anyone knew any companies willing to sponsor me or even donate prizes I can use for a raffle?

Any other fund-raising ideas will also be very welcome.

have an idea. not great but...
you have a toy, say a dog. Print a list of say 40 names out for it. Pick a name, this name is the "winner" you sell the names to people(much like a raffle) and people have a chance to get the name and get the teddy.

Hope it goes well with the sponsor.
