Can't find safe mode

I have an Asus P5VD2-X motherboard. I've pressed F8 and I've pressed delete on boot up to get into setup but I can't find the option for safe mode anywhere. Can anyone help. Thanks

    WHich version of Windows ?
    However pressing F8 repeatedly as soon as you see the BIOS splash screen should give you the option of safe mode

    Depends on the puter, not the Motherboard my friend - which computer name / what model ?
