Help finding jewellers for custom made engagement ring

Evening folks,after a relationship of near enough 3 years, my girlfriend has said yes. Being our usual unconventional selves we still need to find an engagement ring however (also has to do with the fact I''m abroad for work right now, was going to wait till I got back home, but she kinda dragged it out of me that I was thinking about asking the big question and said yes on the spot ).As I want her to have a ring she loves, we've been shopping around on the internet as best we can, but have not quite found the perfect one (well, we did find one we both liked, but the size needed was out of stock an the ring has now been removed from stock completely, so tough luck on us).We have found a ring design we both like a lot, the only thing we don't like is the materials the ring is made of. I was hoping we might be able to find a jewellers that can reproduce the ring in the materials we want, but I haven't a clue where to start looking for one.Anybody have any recommendations for us?Our budget isn't huge, around a grand maybe, more because we think anymore than that is better spent on more practical needs rather than a ring, like a new car, but hopefully there are still options around to have this ring made.Thanks for your help.

My OH got my ring from dejoria online, i don't know about reproducing the design but thier rings are custom made and you pick loads of different things about it so maybe worth a look? HTH

I live in the south wales valleys and within a couple of miles of me are jewellers who will custom make! they cant be that hard to find! google them hun!

Birmingham jewellery quarter, they made mine and hubbys wedding rings and my engagement, there are lots of jewellers there that will do bespoke jewellery.
Depends where you are if you can get there though of course.

I got my wedding ring made by a fabulous jeweller in Kirriemuir - but that's not good if you are hundreds of miles away!

My friend had her ring hand made by an artisan jeweller in Rochdale. They were involved in the design, and also had the wedding rings made which were remodelled from the gold from his and her previous wedding rings (they are both widowed).

Mahailia was really helpful when it came to designing the rings as I had no idea what I wanted, just didn't fancy anything I had seen, and she was really brilliant at helping me to pin down my preferences, gave advice on materials and styles and created a unique design which I love.
