Hi All Need Some Help Got A New Machine At Work And Ive Set It All Up But I Need To Give It An Ip Address How Do I Do This ?

Why do you need to give it an address. Shouldn't the router or server be issuing the IP in order to work on the network?
Start - Settings - Control Panel - Network Connections
Right click on Local Area Connection and select Properties

Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click properties

Unfortunately this pc at work won't let me go any further as I don't have the right privaleges, but there should be somewhere to tell it to automatically assign details (something like that)

Basically We Got A Cd Printer That Print On Cd And Burner So I Conenct It To The Netwrok Using Cable Ive Set Some Of The Settings But It Says I Got Give Ip Address For My Pc To See It
