If you cant handle that then you really shouldnt be using Ebay at all.
I'm very happy to continue to use ebay, so far by selecting sellers very carefully I've had 100% success, no claims ever, very happy with purchases, so my system works well for me.
It would not surprise me if you were a seller yourself with, let's say, less than perfect fb.....
FOLLOW UP: actually you ARE a seller, and one who does not follow ebay's rules (by refusing to accept Paypal). So I was probably right0 -

I suppose you end up with a lot of rubbish because you don't look to see whether the seller selling e.g. cut-price electronics is kosher or not."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

I think you are getting confused with the preferences for YOUR automated emails in SM and SMP. Aside of those, which you CAN switch off, you CANNOT switch off or opt out of Ebays own.
I didn't say you could opt out.
I think you are not reading my posts. The link I posted said the mails have to be automated by a seller.
Someone has since posted this is a US link, however, given that I have only had these emails by a handful of sellers, it's patently obvious it's not MY automated mail preferences and it's also patently obvious it can't be a site-wide setting. It has to be something that is instigated by the seller, either via ebay or some other auction management software. As the template in the link I posted is the exact wording of the mails I received, I can only assume it's EBAY.
Whereever they are originating from, they are not a good idea and the wording is appalling.0 -

The link you give not only is old, but it's on ebay US and they often have different systems.
Here's a more relevant link:

The link I posted has the exact wording of the feedback emails I've received, which is why I posted it. Your link however, doesn't and it's a bit vague and doesn't really explain why I sometimes get the feedback reminders, but most of the time I don't.0 -

No, but you said if Ebay were sending them....
I was letting you know that Ebay ARE sending them. Not (just) the seller. Although the seller has the option in SM and SMP to send automated reminders for feedback.0
