Ideas for a Bridesmaidpresents please

Options
Hi
I am having my BF as BM and my daughter (5)and niece (2) for bridesmaids and haven't a clue what to get them. My BF already gave me a Bridesmaids Champagne Flute from studio when I was her BM , so would like to get her something different any ideas would be a great help:beer:

What is your budget? That will dictate what you buy to a certain extent.

Jewellery could be nice, maybe a necklace with their first initial on it? THESE are GORGEOUS!!! (I know they're pricey but they're so unusual!)

For the children, how about a teddy with a copy of their bridesmaids dress on? I have one of these and it's lovely. I still have it on the shelf in my bedroom to this day!

Let us know your budget and you'll get lots more ideas!!!

  • On a tight budget, so the cheaper the better really, but would love to get my BF something really special, those necklaces are gorgeous and seriously thinking about one of those.

We got these http://shop.confetti.co.uk/product/bridesmaid-gifts-jewellery-box/69834/ for our mothers (obviously ones that say "mother of the bride" and "mother of the groom" not bridesmaid! :rotfl:) They are really cute.

Maybe something like this http://shop.confetti.co.uk/product/butterfly-glass-frame-4x6/101037/ with a picture of you and your BF in it?

    or this http://shop.confetti.co.uk/product/personalised-silver-plated-heart-trinket-box/63135/

Maybe this for the little ones http://shop.confetti.co.uk/product/personalised-bear-with-pink-jumper/68545/

  • Thanki you emsbe,I love all those ideas, Think will go for the bears for the little ones, they are lovely thank you x
  • I've been a bridesmaid twice and got spa vouchers and bath oil, and a really sweet little compact mirror from Monsoon as my presents. I'm not sure that I'd go for the teddy for the 12 year old as I probably would have thought it a bit babyish when I was that age (although it is a lovely idea!) but if she's into her beauty and a bit of a girly girl then something like the mirror might work.

We bought my bridesmaid (who was my BF) a pewter photo frame from John Lewis, and we gave OH's best man (his brother) a pewter tankard.

Not very original I'm afraid but I'll be getting my bridesmaid a gift from this company www.piajewellery.com.

Some really pretty and unusual things and quite reasonable, I love the engraved trinket box which is £18. There's a 10% off code too SPRING11.

    HTH :)

My bridesmaid doesn't wear jewellery so that ruled that out.. we have got her a keyring like THIS : with her name on one side of the tag and 'thankyou for being our wonderful bridesmaid' on the other (I say 'our' as she is in fact a very old friend of my fiance rather than my friend so she is ours, rather than just mine. I now have shares in her :p) Also, rather reasonably priced at £12.99.
