Greenbee, I don't know what aconites are (:o) - I'm guessing it's plants! When I took DS out for a walk yesterday we saw some catkins coming through and also saw some daffodils starting. Makes you feel so much better doesn't it when you think spring will be here soon
.
Mr T been and gone, chooks out in the pen chomping away on a broccoli I gave them, house vacuumed through so after lunch going to take Pip for a walk. DH still home ill but is feeling better than he was ... which doesn't say much.
Paulies_nixie, well done on doing everything! Remember to take it easy though. Did you get the travel bands and are they helping?
Lostinrates, I like the bathroom day too even though I have to clean the toilet of doom downstairs.
Somethingsgottogive, hmmm, I can see it's hard to clean your bathroom! How are you getting on with your orange list? Sounds like DD is feeling a lot better now.
Bella, that's great that you and DH don't argue so much since you've been flying. I find it helps here too; I potter round doing bits and bobs during the week and each little bit makes a real difference. Then at the weekend I don't need to worry about cleaning as done it all during the week - great stuff.
Right, off for a bit more decluttering before I make lunch for me and DH.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

In the Hall I have floorboards
In the kiddies rooms there is all the clean bedding bagged up and their beds are on their sides waiting for the heating men to put new valves on the rads
Our room has no floor on half the room and everything else is stacked up on its side or on top of other bits [we are sleeping on the LR floor]
The Landing has no floor
The bathroom is currently home to a bookcase, computer chair, flooring underlay, floorboards and tools by the shedful

Oh Helen,
I'm throwing sticks at your dog and sending you lots of coping vibes and hugs.
Hope the house gets more shipshape really quickly for you.
Joining you for the coffee though, more hugs, Silver xOutside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.

I was so pleased with myself yesterday as I got loads of work done and sorted the kitchen. I was raring to go this morning but have come back down to earth with a bump and seriously CBA.
It transpired this morning that the new girl in my daughters class is being "unkind" to her. The girl in question has been "moved on" from another local school and my dd had mentioned that she was loud in class but judging by what another child told her Mum there is a lot more to it than that.
Trouble is this all happened between arriving at school and the whistle going and there is nothing more I can do until I speak to dd after school. It does explain why dd was up at 10 last night claiming to have tummy ache and again this morning why she described having a stone in her tummy - she usually loves school. I can't bare the fact I have left my little girl to be unhappy.
Sorry for the ramble hoping that now I've got it off my chest I can make some progress with work and deal with it all at 3.
My thoughts are with those facing hard things at the moment.
