Good job I completed that HHC then
I put the WM on empited the TD, folded the clothes and paired the socks (throwing some in the rags r us bags for scouts) and have taken folded stuff upstairs.
Also killed a couple of hoptspots. Kettle is on now as I am gagging.
Will recommence at 9.45, my aim this time is to try and clear the landing  although I will have to wait for Miss A to help pass stuff up into the loft after school before I can declare that sorted.
How did you get on SM? And whose joining me at 9.45?Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Overwhelmed. Our very good friend's niece has been very, very poorly over the last week or so, had been transferred to London and was given the news late last week that she needed a heart transplant urgently. They are all devastated.
Unbelievably, friend has just called to say that she has a new healthy heart waiting for her and she's going to theatre right now. Thank God to the poor family who have lost someone precious this weekend who were brave enough to give this little girl a chance. :A
We watch and hope.
If you haven't already done it, would you think about adding this to your list today, please ladies?

Hugs and strength for the week for you. I had a scary time with DS2's birth and then MiL died a few days later. It was a dreadful time in many other ways too and it took me years and years to be able to enjoy his birthday without feeling haunted by sadness. I'm sure the children will not notice and it is lovely that you are having separate celebrations for each of them. You sound like a great Mum. My Dad's funeral was 3 days before DS3's 3rd birthday so I've had that to deal with too. It does get easier as the years pass I promise you x
Had a lovely day yesterday with DH home and we took DS3 out to get his birthday present and then all of us went bowling and out for pizza as DH will be away again for his birthday.
Upstairs week for me so plan is:
put washing on the maiden
hoover upstairs
clean bathroom
lunch
take stuff to scrap store
go to sorting office
petrol in the car
go to Mr M
DS2 squash (get some cash out)
haircuts for kids
Governors briefingThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Sexy - you are slim and gorgeous! Don't lose too much weight, I'm sure Moon loves you as you are. Well done for the 3 hour Zumba. Why don't you get Moon to take his boots off before he comes in the door. We have a no shoes policy that everyone male in the family ignores but it's worth a try:(
Thank you for the compliment. I doubt I'll lose that much weight anyway by February, but I'm aiming to lose about half a stone (on the special K plan), as that'll still put me in the healthy weight category, because at the moment I weigh 10st, and Moon can't lift me as I'm too heavy (want to be lifted over the threshold when we get home from honeymoon). I've told Moon he needs to start doing some weight lifting then!
It's difficult to have a no shoes policy here as Moon has to go out the back (through the kitchen to the garage) to chop up the wood, and then has to walk back through to put the wood inside in the basket. I must admit I also tend to carry the food shopping straight from the front door through to the kitchen (through the hall) when I bring it home, so I'm just as much to blame really. It's a very badly designed house, but at the moment we can't afford to do anything about it. When we have enough money to do the kitchen, maybe we can design it so that there is space to store the wood just inside the kitchen door, so he doesn't have to walk through to the hallway.
Still, I've hoovered the kitchen floor, hallway and livingroom now with Moon's old Dyson. Think I'm going to go and get my hoover and go over it again, as it didn't seem to be picking up as well as it should have, and the perfectionist in me wants the job done completely!
