Now it's a tongue in cheek rant before anyone gets their knickers in a twist but what were Andrex thinking about when they replaced the puppy with an animated version?

It's absolutely pants - I know some people dress their puppies up but honestly have you ever seen one wearing a watch?????

please, please Andrex leave the animation to Pixar and bring back the adorable little puppy - the real, live one who breathes, eats and poops.

I think I'll stage a protest and switch loo roll until the original pup returns:)

for your own sake, if you want to have a life, don't! Too many hours I've wasted on a cyber farm, a cyber winery, cyber cafe, playing silly games... Oh I could have read so many books, climbed so many mountains etc :o

it's true. I have *no* self control. And I blame the Andrex puppy.
  • I completely agree, the real one was far nicer than the animated one!

It's the dead lifeless eyes in it. It's cutesy but just doesn't work... come on there must still be some possibility involving a labrador, loo roll and a child's ankles with trousers around them that they haven't exploited yet out in the real world? Failing that - they could always hire Harvey.

Is it me, I think it's a bit creepy. I don't like seeing animals as humans anyway and this new ad makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. Glad to see Tesco had redressed the balance with a real, cute black lab puppy. Good on 'em.
  • I hate this advert with a passion! I wonder if the popularity of Golden Labradors will dwindle, as the animated ones are so damn ugly?!

I love the advert! Each time I see it, I spot something else in it (like another shop name for example).
