Men's wedding formal hire

Hi all,

Am getting married later this year and starting to look at arranging hiring my suits for me and groomsmen.

Just wondered if anywhere is better/cheaper than anyone else?

Will be for me and 7 others so 8 in total.

Any advice of where to go or not go would be really appreciated.

Debenhams maybe? I knew they do formal hire, might have some discounts on in certain times of the year too

We used debehams as well. They have suit hire from £33 but are a little sneaky about it as they won't tell you in the shop there is an offer. You have to do your research then when in the shop say I want the £33 suit that's on the website. If you change anything then it bumps the price up. The suit arrived the Wednesday before the wedding which gives time to fix any mistakes that might have been made. I think we also paid £6 insurance.

We were really pleased with the service.

Not sure what area you are in but we are in Manchester and we used this Company from Halifax http://www.the-internet-pages.co.uk/england/yorkshire/mensw1/ this Company who came to our house with their selection of suits etc, for measurements, to drop off and collect all hired items.... we found them really reasonable in price and their service was fantastic, although it was in 2003.

My OH is going Moss Bros. If you want more suggestions try the wedding forums where there'll be loads more people doing it...am sure there's a current suit thread
