parking fine ballifs

I had a parking fine back in feb which i have been disputing ever sine it was apparantly issued. I never got the parking ticket but was suddenly hit with a £105 bill as i had apparantly not paid.
It went to court and i disputed it. The appeal ruled in my favour for the council to revoke the fee, but pay the original £35. I wrote to the council and offered the £35 and asked for details to pay (address and name for cheque) i received nothing back
They took it back to court after some period of time and unfortunately due to my situation (homeless) kicking off at the same time as court letters coming through i completely forgot.
I had a letter from a ballif today demanding £111, have i got any options ie pay in installments, dispute or am i just going to have to stump up the whole amount. (not that i can afford it)
Many thanks

You could look at this forum on CAG, that deals with bailiffs, you can register and post your question, as there are many on there who can advise the best course of action, in dealing with bailiffs.

If you are homeless you may not have anything of sufficient valuethat the the bailiff could sieze to sell off to pay the debt and his fees If you are on benefits you may be classed as a vulnerable
debtor,
CAG will likely be a good place to look for advice imho0 -
What court was this? Was it patas?I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

just the small claims via money claim i think. The northampton county courtEven a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day, and for once I'm inclined to believe Withnail is right. We are indeed drifting into the arena of the unwell.0

This was a private ticket I assume? We need a lot more details. Who it was. Wfen did the court take place? Did you attend? Did you check that this was a genuine court case with Northampton? PPC's have been known to send blank court papers as a ploy to get you to pay. I don't understand how the court upheld your plea but still made you pay £35.00I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Isnt this a council ticket? appealed then reverted back to £35 within 14 days, as it was not paid it would then go back to £70 plus costs?0

The figures are right as you say but the small claims/moneyclaim bit confused me,
More info plus a timeline of events would help if council.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
Agreed it should be TEC shouldn't it!0

And how would it go back to small claims court? On evidence given I smell a rat. PPC playing fast and loose with false papers? We'll just have to wait for OP to give more details when they are back on.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

sorry for the delay.
ill try and give more info.
In feb 2010 i went for a job interview couldnt find any parking, found a residential area and parked, no single yellow line or anything. i didnt think anything of it until a few months later when i received a letter from plymouth city council saying that the discounted offer of £35 was up and i had no grounds for appeal and i must pay £105 immediately.
I tried to appeal by phoning them up and getting them to revert it back to a normal NTO as then i could appeal because i never received a ticket on the car neither did i think i did anything wrong! they refused and the next stage i was sent a letter from the traffic enforcement centre saying i could appeal the charge. I appealed using the te9 form on the grounds that i never received the ticket in the first place and if i did i would have just paid the £35 not let it go this far. I asked the traffic enforcement centre to send any correspondence to me via recorded mail as there is a known problem with post in the area and perhaps this is why i didnt recieve the letters from the council about the parking charge. I told them i only parked for about an hour all i was trying to do was go to an interview with a local company in the area (funded by the council)
Anyway i got the appeal back and they ordered the council to revoke the charge, they said on the form though that it does not stop the council fining me the original charge of £35 for a parking ticket.
A few situations occured and my family found ourselves homeless a week before christmas thats to our scumbag landlord when the council applied again to the traffic enforcement centre, unfortunately this time i forgot to fill out the form and tell the traffic enforcement centre the council have completely ignored me and seem intent on getting the £105 out of me rather than just letting me off with the £35.
and now i have a letter from the ballif
hope i have included enough info

OK, thanks for clarification. I, personally, think you should check on bailiffadviceonline.co.uk. There is a small charge but cheaper than the £105. They sometimes post on here but I am not sure of the full name.
Hide the car away on private land, in a garage etc. in case bailiffa come nosing.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
