Apart from the price, whats the difference between rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
I only ask because I needed to get 3 C batts and disposable Duracell are £3.99 for pack of two.
Whats the story with that?

Well... one sort can be recharged?
Rechargeables are a lot cheaper in the long run. A single set of rechargeables can easily last eighteen months, even with heavy usage. Out of my four rechargeables, I've probably had forty batteries' worth of use. That's ~£60 of power for near enough £10.0
