Lol posted on the Gold Bullion for Investment thread.
Written in anger after being constantly attacked by the anti gold crowd.
they love to rub our noses in it when gold drops a bit. like Hamish's Crashtatstic thread(posted in the house prices forum) so I'm obviously going to repay the favour
No doubt the house rampers could voice the same grievances and insist that Bears 'rub their noses in it' when house prices drop. Your all as bad as each other, which is fine because as Davina McCall says on Big Brother "its all pantomime". However, drop the righteous indignation when your no better (or worse) than the rest of them.0 -
Just wondered
Ive given out too much financial info and pics of my house than is probably wise. I'm unlikely to go any further and divulge where I live.
However, its in an area where £450k buys you a stone farm house overlooking a fishing lake and woodlands. I guess we can rule out the SE, but can rule in most of the rest of the UK.0 -

Fairs fair wouldn't you agree? Perhaps we could return to discussing housing. It wasn't me that first mentioned gold on this thread.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Yes it was:and many have been prediciting the crash of the metals for many years now also and some day they may be correct. I rather think housing will crash long before the metals though.
Unless by 'the metals' you meant every metal other than gold?
It would be nice to return to talking about house prices and the economy rather than all the gold and silver ramping that you guys do on here. Perhaps we could have an agreement that you lot keep 'the metals' ramping to the investment board where they belong?0 -

Do you not mean the gambling board'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
This was the first mention of gold on this thread. is that my name?Graham_Devon wrote: »Wouldn't give it to Hamish.
If he's happy to class himself as correct because he's been predicting the price of gold will crash for around 1-2 years now, and it's recently fallen in price by 8%...
....then he'd have to accept that Capital Economics have also got it correct. Afterall, they have been saying house prices will fall for a while now...and they are falling.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I would like nothing more myself but it is not me that starts off the discussion about gold etc on this and other threads in the housing section.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Auctions are normally where a lot of the BTLs and speculators buy property, generally those more inclined to take on a bit of risk. so if they're not buying they must be expecting falls.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
