Anyone know where I could find the code to release a NEON CH2469F 23.6" Wide screen LCD TV with DVB and DVD.

NEON IIRC is just a badge not sure who makes the actual DVD bit.
If you can find that out might then be able to find a hack
Found this which was not promising

This is an old hack for a DVD machine made by them
Turn on
Open the tray
Press Setup
Select Perference menu
Enter 1379
Choose your area (O = multiregion)0 -
unfortunately I dont have a tray (its a suck it in vertical slot) and the menu doesn't have preferences. I have a country setting showing UK but it is greyed out so I can't change it. I can go to DVD settings where I get TV system (NTSC, PAL or AUTO), a password (4 charas), something called rating which bizarrely lists American ratings, Default (to restore), Video (Interlace-YUV, P-Scan, YPBPR).
I think maybe I need the password...0 -
I think you may be stuffed....(hopefully not)0

Be carefull applying hacks which are not for the exact model or you don't know if they work or not as you can really stuff the dvd player.
Would it not be easier to convert the R1 disc to region 0 to play in the Neon?0 -
oooh, interesting sounding idea - whats how you do one of them when its at home?
