I am holding a suprise party for my DHs 40th and am wanting to email invitations to our friends & family.
I have some rather lovely pictures of my DH as a small child which will embarrass the life out of him but are just begging to be used on the invites:D !
I have this idea of drawing up a kind of storyboard using all the photos - but dont actually know where to start!
My starting point was to scan them all first - but have just tried and my scanner has died - probably from never hardly being used:mad: ! There is a computer shop up the road so I'm going to start by getting them on to a disc!
But then what do I do!
How am I best to do this - I know it isn't rocket science but I woulodnt even know what program to use!
I am ok in word and excel but so far as power point etc are concerned - I think I may have opened attachments to emails in that format but thats about it!
Am I trying to do too much here?
Any help greatfully appreciated and sorry for waffling!:T

If your wanting to email everyone and the pictures ect show up as part of the email then you need to use html (web page language/code) that is the way hmv, play all the that email offers ect out do it.
you can do it with microoft word and save as html then use the html file created as stationary in your email program, you will need to upload the pictures to some online storeage so when the recipient opens the email the pictures are downloaded and get displayed.
part of the process is to make sure you resize the pictures and optimise them for web use or it will take ages for the pictures to be displayed if they are large file sizes.
I hope that helps and gies you an idea of what is involved, it is quite easy if you have the knowlege0
