it is difficult, but not impossible to get DLA for babies. I work for a complex care team, providing care for very dependant children. We help parents to fill in forms like this, and if needs be, support them at any interviews which are required. As has been suggested, your health visitor should be able to help - or a specialist nurse at GOS.
The main thing is to consider what extra things you have to do for your baby, and make sure you list it all on the form. A good idea is to keep a diary, and literally record everything you do for your baby over a couple of days. If things like nappy changes take longer, make sure you note that down too. Some children have plaster casts on their legs, which may mean they need more frequent nappy changes, or extra care for their skin etc etc.
good luck, and congratulations on your new baby!!Getting fit for 2013 - Starting weight 10.1.13 88.1kg
