Having read the scottish power post I noticed a few of you were using the Online energy service they do on their website for thei bills. Well we've signed up and I've just entered our new meter readings and our bill is still £1.75 in credit even though they last produced a bill in September and we've had the heating on since the beginning of oct 
It's amazing how reassuring it is to know that you're not in the red and that they have no reason to put your payments up anymore! lol!
