Where are they RISING:rotfl:
According to LR they are still rising YOY.
That's likely to lower in the coming months though.
the thing is, when you look at the broader picture, prices are stagnating on average (of course some areas will be falling and some rising to make up that average), certainly no clear downward trend as you put it.
:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

By the way, prices ARE rising - albeit gradually. So go and take a powder and get over it.0

Unbelievable:rotfl:
You just have to witness it personally to realise that they will swear black is white in order to get their ramping message across, they cannot even be honest with themselves.
You can do a million things with statstics inorder to make them say what you want them to say, but the fact is that there is now a downward trend0 -
Several friends and relatives of mine are in negative equity at the moment. They bought between 2006 and 2008. In my road only 2 (similar) houses have sold in the past 4 years. One in 2007 for £210,000 and the other last month for £165,000. I see nothing but doom and gloom for the economy in the next few years. Repossessions wuold be much higher if the base rate wasn't kept so low. It's great to be ALIVE!0

Are your friends on low rates? Logic would say that if they are in Neg. Equ. at this stage, then they must have had high LTV mortgages (i.e. 100%, 95%, 90%) and would therefore also have punitive interest rates. Unfortunately, people like this are not being supported by low interest rates.0 -
'Just buy'. they exclaim,' buy now' they say.' We know best we know everything, trust us'
this is the height of irresponsibility, messing with other peoples lives. encouraging people to risk their lifes savings on what they imagine to be true.
I like the idea that people might be wondering whether to buy a house or not and might be finally persuaded by some of the crap on here.0 -
You know the thing that 'gets me' most of all, the thing that annoys me the most? its the property rampers; hamish sibley and the rest.

I say different. do not put your life savings on the line on the basis of what these clowns proclaim here. dig a bit deeper and get a real understanding of what is going on. Given free range these fools will cause untold damage to the lives savings and thinking of decent people.(should they be dumb enough to listen) its over for you rampers, hence forth I'm gonna pick to bits every bit of rubbish you post on this forum. you can count on that. Every bit of cobblers you post I'm gonna be all over, I got the time. I'm gonna make you look like the fools you are. of that I can promise you.
Is this any different from the Gold ramping you do on here? Dont you feel that your a complete hypocrite?0 -

Not sure about this, but I'm definitely gonna put all my money into silver after some excellent posts on this idea. :T
To make it interesting, and to show what faith you have in Silver, why not tell us how much you are investing and at what price. That way, we can keep an eye on your 'gains' over the coming months/years?
I keep asking all the Gold and Silver bugs what their investment is and what their average is, but NOT ONE of them ever responds. Why is that?0 -
