Has anyone here got one of these phones as part of their BT Total Broadband package?
I signed uo for the whole package last week and set it all up but totally confused with this Hub Phone. From what I understand it works by dialling out over the broadband connection and you pay for these calls except evenings & weekends. You can also use the same phone over your regular landline by prefixing the figure 5 before you dial out and these I suspect are charged at my Option2 rate unless I prefix 1899 or similar.
What I really want to know is if I can b...... well dial out, why can't I get the Hub Phone to accept incoming land line calls. it works when someone calls me on my BT Broadband Talk?

Oh don't even get me started on the hub phone. We've had one for a few months and it has NEVER accepted incoming landline calls. I was assured by BT technical help that it was an error that they were aware of and dealing with and that it would be sorted within a month. THAT WAS NEARLY 3 MONTHS AGO. We've had to connect our normal phone to the hub to be able to recieve any incoming calls at all.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Not a happy situation and as I suspect from the length of time that BT have so far taken to respond to my query, a problem they still cannot yet resolve.
As a matter of interest I had look eleswhere to see what others were experiencing and this is what I found. Is it any help?
