I want to book tickets for my partners 40th this year.
I want to take the children as well to see Priscilla Queen of The Desert
At £65.00 per ticket it's looking expensive with my eldests birthday and fathers day in the same month budget is looking very tight.
has anyone used that site , it's not a rip off site is it?

Definitely not a rip off, it's the official site for the Society of London Theatre and is an annual deal. I've been very happy with the tickets I've booked via this site over the years.0

Thanks Old Bill.
This might be a silly question but....on their site is says tickets are available until 18th Feb.
Are there more tickets after this date or does the site operate only between these dates. Does the site have reduced tickets for shows all year round??Capital one was £1000.00 now £0.00:j

The big downside of this GILT is the tickets have to be bought from see tickets.

It's an annual deal, but only usually runs in Jan and Feb. Last year it was extended into March. I've used See tickets many times (most recently last week) and have yet to experience any problem at all.0

It is an annual event, with reduced price tickets provided without the added cost of booking fees. You will be given the best available seat at the time of booking. The rest of the year, I would recommend subscribing to officiallondontheatre.co.uk as you will occasionally receive tickets offers. If you live near London, the next best thing is to visit the TKTS booth in Leicester Square. There are lots of so called half price ticket places around, but they are the only official site and offer up to half price seats for a wide variety of shows. They only sell for shows on that day, both matinee and evening, up to 6pm I believe. Again, you will be allocated the best seat available. You can check their website before you head out to see which shows are discounted,as some of the big sellers like Lion King rarely are.0

Not sure children would enjoy it that much, Billy Elliot might be better.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
Don't know how old your children are but for Priscilla ive seen an age recommendation
Due to occasional coarse language, parental guidance is recommended for children 15 years and under
I would say that Billy Elliott is also not recommended for children as said before there is a lot of swearing...
Having said both are very good...A friend is a present which you give yourself (R.Stevenson)
Happiness seems made to be shared (Jean Racine)0
