Hi
I am traveling through south east Asia for 2 months as of next Sunday, I need to get Malerone can anyone help with the cheapest place to buy these? also will I need more than 2 month supply? I think you may need to take them for a while after you leave the Malaria zone?
Thanks x

dont get malarone far too expensive for 2months stay i think travelpharm is the cheapest £2.26 per tablet bear in mind you have to start 2 days before, daily tab & 1 wk after return alot of tabs
take aclicvor/paladrine (sorry i know spelling is wrong) approx £12-£15 per pack (you will need 2 pks)avail no script tescos asda any pharmacy
disadvantage you start daily 1 wk before dept, in resort & 4 wks after return
i have taken both no side effects luckily
or there is
doxycycline again not too expensive can cause skin reactions in sun in some people
check out www.travelpharm.co.uk

Some people have side effects from the Avloclor (1 tablet per week).
We find they make us feel really queasy so we take them after food and just before going to bed.
Try this company:

Or here for Malerone, it says you take for one week after leaving a malerial zone:

65 tablets (8 week trip) of Malerone is £170.10  but Chloroquine/Proguanil is £24.10 for the same period.
